In our clinic we use the BLT line: the tapered body gives high primary stability in soft bone and in implants placed on the day of extraction. The Roxolid® (titanium-zirconium) alloy keeps strength even in narrow implants, and the SLActive® surface shortens healing.
Reliability and research
Numerous independent studies with more than 10 years of follow-up have been published on Straumann implants; for the SLActive® surface, 10-year survival is reported at 97–98%. The company offers a lifetime guarantee on implants (terms on the official website). Components are available in almost every country, which makes it easy to service the restoration in another city or country.
